POPSI COLLECTION

In order to slow down global warming and deforestation, we wondered if there was an alternative material providing just as much warmth as wood for furniture design. Through cooperation with industry insiders, the high-density, high-strength, moisture-resistant, and environmentally friendly material of bamboo charcoal was discovered as a suitable candidate.

Popsi collection is a series of "green" sustainable furniture designs. The bamboo charcoal features bevel cutting, such that the shapes of tables and chairs are no longer plainly flat, but rather enhanced with a simple sense of layered dimensionality. In effect, the Popsi collection embodies the spirit of Nordic furniture, achieving a people-oriented design while maintaining harmony with nature.
